Actually, we've already met. But today the Quinces of the Quince Urban Homestead blog came up from the big city to visit our "homestead" in St. Cloud. We were honored they drove all the way up here just to see us! Sometimes I feel I spend way too much time online, but there are a lot of benefits to it. This is one of them. Devin and I "met" first online when I found his family's blog , I think through the Path to Freedom Urban Homesteaders Ringsurf . I made a comment at his blog, he came over and made a comment on my blog, we started emailing, and a couple of months ago we were down in the Cities and made some time to go visit their place. A friendship was begun, thanks to cyberspace. Devin and Heidi's boys brought their kites, and since it was windy we walked to our nearby park and took a chance on flying them.
