Saying Yes

Last night I went to my monthly Writer's Group meeting. Today I will share with you what I wrote for it. We all had chosen topics suggested by the reader-written magazine, The Sun . The topic, Saying Yes , spoke to me the most after much deliberation. And since I don't write much about my husband on these pages, I decided I'd put this out there, for and about him. Here goes: Saying Yes Well, I never really had to say yes. It was all so very mutual. I remember going for a drive, parking the car and getting out to walk the empty country road. Rose's Birthday

Here are a few photos from the Fairy Tea Party. Rose and four of her friends had a great time. And didn't they all look so lovely! As something to do, we had the girls make themselves a set of cards with rubber stamps and blank note cards. Then I tied them up with a ribbon as part of their "party favors". They liked it, but didn't yet have much patience to make their five cards. Knowing the girls are pretty "hands-on", we also had them decorate their own mini-heart cakes. They loved dipping into the chocolate icing and sprinkling on all manner of sugars and sprinkles! George put on his "music teacher" hat for a little cake-time entertainment. All the girls at the party are school friends so they are used to "Mr. Zahn" as their teacher! They all love him, and he of course basks in the attention... Happy Birthday to our sweetie!
