Well, here I am with a blog of my own. I'm not sure what I'm doing with this, but I figure 'what the heck', everyone else is doing it, right? Besides, it's totally free! And free is very good. Day One of the "Zahn Zone". What do you think of the name? "Lisa's Place" was taken, amazingly, so my brain quickly came up with this as an alternative. I like the alliteration at least. Plus, it leaves others in the family free to contribute. Maybe the kids will get into this at some time, which would be great writing practice for them. I'll have to see if I can corral them into it. Maybe Elijah can contribute some poetry like this, which he did last year in his second grade class: I had a loaf of bread on my head.
